I went to the Potomac Celtic Festival with Pam, and met up with
[livejournal.com profile] geekchick and Chris, but poor GeekChick was suffering from her allergies. She looked *so* unhappy while there she just had to bail. It was a shame, it was nice and sunny (and I want to thank her for use of her sunscreen, else I would have been quite burned). There was plenty of food and music, and a full hang out of Rennies and Scadians. I saw three other people I knew there. I didn't see any redhead in a kilt
and hose that GeekChick told me to watch for, but I had my
fair share of eye candy.

It was a wonderful day and it would've been great to actually spend more time hanging out with you guys, I'm not thrilled I had to miss it. I wish I could've stayed, but I seriously couldn't see because my eyes were so irritated. =( I don't know what's out there, but I obviously got pretty sensitized to it yesterday since I started reacting within 15 minutes of getting there today. It took almost until we got home for my eyes to finally calm down enough for me to be able to see clearly.

I made sure it didn't come out of my bag yesterday; Chris managed to get sunburned (which he almost never does), so I was quite thankful to have long sleeves and sunscreen. I'm glad to hear that you managed to escape a similar fate. =)

I was surprised that I didn't see more people I knew. I am wracking my brain though to figure out why I'm positive that I know the guy who was manning one of the booksellers along the back row of the craft area. I was tempted to ask him if he was who I thought he was, but didn't manage to get up the nerve

I have a Visor, which is probably close enough, although I rarely use it (couldn't get the desktop software to work on XP when I last tried).
