yet another cute dog story

We've been having bad reception on some channels, so called in Cox to try to fix it. The cable guy was supposed to call a half hour in advance, but he showed up on the doorstep with no warning to me. King and Sierra do their normal 'bark like a maniac' thing for a minute, I open the door a crack to tell the cable guy I'm tossing the dogs outside, which I then do. The guy looks at my setup for a few minutes, tells me with a laugh that I have the "old, old cable", and starts hooking up his testing equipment. After a few minutes his partner shows up, and they continue to snoop, and change out splices and splitters. They need to head outside, so I let them out, and start picking up the remains of what they've stolen over the past week, the little dweebs. After another couple of minutes the first cable guy says his female partner "I don't get it, ten minutes ago the dogs wanted to tear out my throat, now they want me to throw them a ball!".
