As I went to the cafeteria on the mountain for lunch after my last night of observing, as I pulled the car in I saw a fox sunning himself on the concrete wall in front of the parking lot. He looked at me, yawned, and then mosied about 20 feet away. I carefully got out of the car, got my things, and moved to the side. The fox then calmly walked over and layed down on the concrete wall in a very patient manner.
Given that he was laying about 10 feet from the back door of the cafeteria, I suspect the cooks give him scraps.
