I love my dogs. Pull.
On Thursday Pam got home before I did. There was a note taped to the door. The note said that they were a neighbor of ours, and found our dogs frolicking through the neighborhood. They were first seen at about 8:40, and in the afternoon the person was able to collect them, bring them back to our house, close the fence (which the dogs had opened) and put the dogs back in. The unnamed person said that the dogs were very sweet, and didn't cause a problem.
Later that day three more neighbors stopped by to tell us our dogs had gotten loose. Apparently the entire neighborhood knows that we're the ones that own two german shepards. I guess its hard to be anonymous with them.
One of the weirder things is that I had been scheduled to observe Thursday, so I slept in late, and fed
the dogs before I left. I left at 10, and the dogs were still in the house. I think that they had been
coming in and out of the house all day long. If they got bored, they left the yard. When they got hungry,
they came back.
*sigh*
Dogs.
