Bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuce!

Springsteen, an acoustic guitar, and about 18,000 folk is a nice way to spend a couple of hours. We even walked to the Patriot Center and avoided the traffic. Very different set of music than you find at a concert with the E Street band, but it was a good night. Pam even walked out without her head bothering her since we wore ear plugs for the concert.

Got up early for us on a Sunday, found our power was out, showered by candle light, declined to shave by candle light, snagged our usual bagel brunch, met up with the MIL at the Metro to head down town for a Nationals game, watched a 5-4 victory, get through the metro station in a surprizing quick time considering the size of the mob, spend half an hour twiddling my thumbs in Rossyln while both the yellow and blue lines are non-functioning, get back home to find out the MIL friend who is meeting us for dinner is two hours late, start to grab dinner, have restaurant get evacuated cause wait staff smell propane, wait outside for half hour till fire squad give ok, finish dinner, come home, read lj, use too many commas.
