vacations

Pam and I are up in Killington Vt, at my parents time share. Arrived yesterday, at about 8pm, after leaving NJ at 9:30. Way more stops than I had expected. My cold seems almost over, but I think I've gone from "cold" to "sinus infection". Joy. The change in altitude made my face all sore. I've started taking Amoxocillin (sp?). Hopefully that will clear things up. Pam went horse back riding today, I spent the day at the pool with LOTR. I had intentionally not re-read the books before the movies came out, and I figure its long enough now that I can reread it and not be constantly comparing the movie and book versions. Even though I put SPF on I ended up with sun burn. :( Although I'm a dumb ass for forgetting my face and the top of my feet, this pasty face astronomer shit can really screw a guy up when he actally gets some sun. I think I'll avoid the pool tomorrow, and concentrate on the marble museum and the maple sugar factory tour.
