goating ans shimmying

Spent a few hours yesterday being helpful for reedrover who had goat to be sheared. I brought King along who was on his best behaviour. However I'm sure part of that was King is now old enough he can't chase goats, but he seemed to enjoy watching over the whole operation. Later that night I went to Shimmies for the Cure, got to see sihaya09 dance. tamnonlinear wsa there to chat with and be part of the rooting squad, and I got to see Ariel (no idea if she does lj) dance. I was feeling tired before it all ended so I left early, but it was fun to see some Cabaret style dancing. Although Ariel broke my brain when some drummers were doing a basic baladah (sp?) and she started singing first Jingle Bells, then the Dredeil song, before moving onto singing Hari Krishna. After she got done her singing she turned around, saw the expression on my face, and burst into giggles.
