a week in sante fe

I've been at a "summer school" for the National Virtual Observatory where I'm sitting in front of my laptop all day long getting powerpoint poisoning from talks with thrilling titles such as "Advanced XML", "Advanced SQL", and "Advanced SOAP". But yesterday was the "off" day, so Pam and I drove down to Socorro so I could show here the VLA and NM Tech (where I spent 4 and 6 years respectively). Pam enjoyed the VLA but I think she was most amused by the baby antelope that kept on walking up to her and gave her the "feed me" look.
