Thanksgiving day conversations

Dear member of my wife's family, please let me give you a bit of advice. If you ever hear the phrase "I know this will make me sound like a bigot . . ." come out of your mouth, please stop talking. Because you are correct, it does make you sound like a bigot. Of course I figured that out a few years ago when you referred to a pro football player by using the N word.
