I've had that problem.

A quick trip to JC Penny solves the problem.

And results in having 3 weeks worth of underwear when you get home.

Alternately, you could put 7 pairs on the day you travel; that way you don't have to pack them and, as an added bonus, you're assured that they don't get lost with your luggage. -sM

This particular gaffe led to me spending a Sunday morning in Paris shopping for men's underwear. Remarkably hard to find and sadly low quality. Did not stand up well to American washing machines. I did get a really nice linen sport jacket, tho...
