I saw DC Tribal Cafe at Asylum last night, along with make_your_move and her friend, who has an lj name and even told me it, but I'm apparently too dumb to remember it. The dancing was wonderful, the crowd way too many for the size of the venue, but I think that's the breaks. I also think they need a new speaker, since I was hearing some humm, but that didn't spoil my enjoyment at socializing with friends and watching interesting dancing. If only I hadn't gotten lost on the way there. But it wasn't my fault, the web site had a typo in the address.
