Its not so funny when you know the peacock had to be euthanized because of the extent of the trauma, including having all its tail feathers broken off.

And what the f*sk is it with New Yorkers and birds? Last year a party of 10 young lunatics brutally attacked and killed a pair of brooding swans in NYC. Fortunately, the teenagers missed the nest, and the swans' eggs all hatched successfully.
