Just got a quote of 2K to 4K to fix the damn tub. The plumber guy claims a part from the stopper broke off and is blocking the drain line, so the tub has to be
removed and the tee pipe opened up. That's a boatload of money we don't have. *sigh* I hate plumbing. Anyone in the nova area handy with plumbing?

that's a LOT of money. Get a second opinion/bid on the work, maybe even a third.
