My morning so far

7:30 let Sierra out, since she is whining, go back to bed
8:00 carry King outside, since he is whining
8:05 bring King back in, go back to bed.
8:30 let Sierra back in, since she is barking, go back to bed
9:30 carry King outside, go back to bed
10:00 let Sierra out, since she is whinging. Decide I've had all the sleep I'm gonna get.

Seems like every half hour I have to change the quantum state of the dog.

Why are you carrying King?

He's old and has denerative myopathy (very similar to MS) and he can't get up and down stairs anymore.

Now if only you had an entangled pair of dogs, whose individual states were unknown but who were known to be one inside and one out... You'd never need to switch them because (for all you know) the one who wants to be outside at the moment *is* actually outside already.

The problem is that dogs are bosons, they want to both be in the same quantum state. They both like to sleep at the same time, and bark at the same time.
