My day

4:25am wake up cause king is whining
5:15 wake up cause king is whining. look at alarm clock cause it should have beeped 15 minutes earlier
ago. realized i set alarm improperly. swear. shower. get dressed drive to dulles.
6:05 arrive in in terminal. with flight at 6:40 i should be fine
6:10 wait in line for kiosk. shove credit card in. kiosk goes 'Buh?'. stick 2nd credit car in. kiosk still goes "Buh?"
6:11 get in line for jetblue
6:25 talk to human. explain i want to get on the 6:40 flight. mention i don't think i'm gonna make it
6:35 human figures out problem. confirms i'm not going to make it. given boarding pass for 9am flight
6:39 arrive at gate. see airplane full of people slowly move away from jetway. bye, plane bye. a plane leaving that you were supposed to be on is one of the saddest things i've ever seen.
6:40 start reading new bujold book
8:30 board plane for boston
11ish arrive logan. get rental car. drive on 93N to meeting. boy that's an interesting looking bridge
11:30 arrive for meeting supposed to start at 10, got started at 10:20ish, so i'm not *THAT* late
4:30 leave meeting so i can get return flight.
5:15 arrive logan. if i had known traffic would be that light i could have stayed another half hour. cest la vie
6:30 plane leaves boston
8ish plane arrives dulles
8:20 leave dulles. boy this was a long day

At least the bujold book didn't suck, even if the ratio of exposition/action was too high for my taste. But I'd rather read Bujold's third best series than a recent Honor Harrington.

Makes it hard to go to work though. A few hours in an airport might actually be appreciated!
Honor has indeed become a disappointment.

I did, but at 6:30am at Dulles there is no line, so I got no benifit, and Logan isn't on the list of airports using it.
