gshPam has an out of town visitor.
Friday night we went walking around Fair Oaks Mall, then saw a 3D non Imax version of Tron.
Saturday we went to the Museum of National History, saw lots of dinosoars, and the Hope diamond. It is very blue.
Today we saw the Air and Space, visited the Arboretum, had Ethopian food, then saw the Christmas Tree and the Yule Log while trying not to freeze certain body parts off. I was amused at the Air and Space Museum due to them having a blink comparator from USNO (with property sticker still attached), a model of the UIT telescope (which I did my thesis on) and a setup of the Sloan Digital Sky Survey.
