Ya know

It will be hard to see an eclipse through 14 magnitudes of extinction due to clouds.

Why couldn't the weather be nice?

Because there are four? eclipses this year?

Think you would be willign to set something like this up again for when the weather might be nicer?

Well, the solar eclipse in two weeks isn't visible from the us. 

I haven't looked at the visibity charts for the one in November.
