Being on blood thinners makes nicking yourself shaving a much more interesting problem.

Blood thinners are no joke. Bumping into things can be damaging when on them. Trust me I went through almost a year of it when my lug was on them for awhile after his DVT incident.

Please take extra care of you. :)

Maybe cultivate the scruffy biker look for a while?

I'd avoid anything that might result in bruising for a while.

You should try menstruating on them. SO MUCH FUN.

Also, are they checking your clotting times on a regular basis? They should be to make sure you're not over-decoagulated.

That would be my suggested solution, too. Good thought.

I'm going to smack your doctor. When you were put on anti-coagulants you should have been instructed to go to the lab semi-weekly (approximately) for blood tests to keep track of your clotting. That way you don't get over decoagulated. So yes, if your GP is monitoring you call him. And if you get sent to Quest know that you can go online and book appointments in advance so that you don't have to wait.
