Yes, there is a certain date in November I have to request all my leave, my supervisor can deny it for any reason he wants to, for good or for bad, but if I made the november deadline, and he denies me leave, I can get the leave restored.
Most of this was my way of making a point when my boss asked me to bring in a doctors note over a three day absence, and I felt that was not treating me as a professional.
