Yep, she did the hyphen thing, and I didn't. About a week before the wedding we were filling out some paperwork, and I asked her what name she wanted to use. She said "I don't know, I haven't thought about it", thought for a few seconds, and wrote down the hyphenated name.
I've continued to use the same name I always had.
I had actually expected to be addressed as Mr. Meek-Hennessy long ago.
