Fun with commuting

Well, I had a near death (well, maybe not, but a whole lot closer than I like) experiance on the drive home. I was at a red light, behind a gas tanker, reading all the "flammable" signs, when I notice the truck start to roll backwards. I watched it roll a bit more, check the rear view mirror to see if I could back up any, then leaned on the horn when it became apparent I couldn't back up any more. The tanker continued to back into the car, stopped, then the light turned green and he pulled off. I was too shaken to try to follow him and try to get him to stop, and just pulled into the Giant parking lot to see if there was any car damage. The licence plate is bent a bit, but nothing else.

Since I didn't get his license plate, I didn't call the cops. I don't know if he knew he hit me or not.
