U2 tickets for MCI center went on sale at 10am. At 9:55 I sat down at the computer with credit card. At 10 I go to the ticket master site, ask for two tickets, any price, best available, wait wait wait wait, get told no tickets available. Wasn't the internet supposed to be good for these sorts of things? I doubt I'll want to pay what a scalper will want for this concert.

I never even bother with the website for really popular shows, since it's slow and painful to use even at the best of times. It's easier for me just to wander over to the Tower on West Ox and try to get tickets in person. Sorry you didn't manage to snag tickets.

Yea, if I had been thinking properly I should have shagged my butt out of bed. Plenty of tickets available on ebay at about 300 a pop. Somehow I don't think so.
