what a morning

Doctors appt for the foot at 8am. Got told that I can try to ski next week, just stop of it hurts. "stopping when it hurts is half of all medicine". Then had a drop off bodily fluids and get blood drawn for yet more tests at 9, then at 10 I had my cat scan. Didn't have to take off the body jewelry, yea! (I had forgotten to ask in advance if I needed to.) Cute 20 something technician was wearing a chain and collar around her neck from tiffany's, actually expensive jewelry, not just some random thing from home depot. Got home and nearly had a heart attack, the dogs bottle of Rimadyl (meds to ease King's arthritis) was chewed in the middle of the kitchen floor. And since it had just been refilled, that would be about 50 pills. A frantic call to the vet indicated that would be a fatal dose, so I was making arrangements to get both dogs in for a stomach pumping when I uncovered the *new* bottle, all nice and full. They had apparently pulled the old one out of the trash and nibbled on that.

*sigh*

Dogs

It's pretty scary ridiculous scary how much those cost.

Little green tooth-brush-shaped dog treats that supposedly help with doggie breath and general health.
