Serenity

Pam and I are planning on watching Serenity. The number of shows are less than I'm happy with, but oh, well. Of those that might go, what times seem good? Centerville Multiplex at 6:55 and 9:40 which is near Sweetwater tavern, a good place to eat dinner, but trying to get dinner before the 6:55 seems challenging uless I take off of work a bit, and trying to wait till the 7:30ish or 8ish before the 9:40 show may be a bit late. The best time I can find a show is 7:45 at the theaters near west ox. Dinner at 6:30ish sounds possible. Star Thai? Anyother sugguestions?

A later show actually works better for us, since the bean normally goes to bed around 8:30 or 9, and an already sleeping baby makes babysitting much easier. And we'd probably prefer the Googolplex in Sterling (the Regal Countryside 20, on Route 7 just east or Route 28) since it's a bit closer to the house (and baby) -- it's also all digital sound and all stadium seating, I think. And also near a Sweetwater, conveniently. Showtimes at the Googolplex are 7:40, 8:40 and 10:30. We'd love to catch it with you guys if possible, but we can go solo or see it later in the weekend.

Okay, I'm buying tickets for the 8:40 show for [livejournal.com profile] rdhdsnippet, [livejournal.com profile] fortryll and myself. See you there, hopefully!

The zip of the theater is 20165, but I don't think Movietickets does tickets for them. I bought mine on Fandango.

Late is better form me. I'll be making homemade buttercream icing for the wedding on the 1st....

I was figuring on a later showing myself, as anything before 8:30 isn't really an option. If you go to a 9:40 or later show, let me know and maybe I'll meet up with you there.

Plus, there's "MirrorMask" at E St. Cinema this weekend. *squee*

Or maybe we can make 8:40 after all, since I'm disgusted enough with work lately that I don't mind skipping some. Was there a collective dinner plan beforehand? (That's still pretty unrealistic for us to get to but it'd be nice to know anyway.)

I at least can't make it to dinner that early, but we'll try and meet up with y'all at the theater.

It's all good for me, just let me know where and when. (and possibly pick me up, since I don't know if I'll have transportation.) :)

"Where will I be"? Hell if I know. Somewhere in the Washington DC probability cloud. :) There is a strong likelihood that I will be over at meliapet's covered with, er, covering a cake with frosting. If that's the case, though, I'll just ride with her.
