The dry air here is starting to have an effect on me. I feel like I'm becoming dessicated. I'm drinking water almost constantly. I woke up with the biggest case of dry mouth I've ever had in my life. I left the humidifier running in the dorm room all day, perhaps that will help.

I feel very strongly that water intake should be feedback-controlled based on urine output. If you're peeing ~ 2 liters per day, that's about right, IMNSHO.

When I worked in (very dry) southwest Texas I had hydration problems. It's amazing how even a little dehydration kills my energy. I often run into that by accident when travelling, with the result that I'm a slug when I needn't be, until I remember to drink.
