I got my hair cut today. While the stylist was working on me I noticed I now have grey temples! I look at my face every day in the mirror, how could I suddenly have grey in my hair! *runs screaming*
A little grey adds character, especially around the temples. A lot of women like that look.
And it could be worse...
About 10 years ago I was explaining to a new stylist some of the issues with cutting my hair and ended with "it's always been very straight and very fine". She was being very chatty, and said something like, "Yes, I see that. And now that you're losing your hair..." I cut her off with "I am NOT losing my hair!" A quiet "oops" escaped her mouth and she said not another word for the rest of the time I was there.
