Saw Rent tonight. Got blown away. I had heard a lot about it, but the movie bested my expectations. I wish that happened more often. Pam started the evening grumbling I had dragged her to another stupid musical, and left saying it was the most intense movie she's seen in her life.

at the end of it, when the screen faded to black I whispered to Mym "Thank God that's over." - it was so powerful, i felt like I had just gone 10 rounds with Tyson. but in that good cathartic cry-because-if-you-don't-your-head-would-explode-sorta-way. wow.

What theater did you see it in? Pam and I saw it at Fairfax Corner Delux.

I'm looking forward to it. I hear there is only one major change from the musical, and it was a means to the same end rather than a plot departure.
