what I learned at the zoo
Jan. 14th, 2005 01:51 amPandas, either in DC or in San Diego, tend to be sleeping when I try to watch them.
Polar bears eat carrots. And sweet pototoes. And a polar bear hold a carrot in his paws just like King holds a rawhide bone.
Hippos frolick extremely well considering their size. They also like to tease birds. I'm not sure what was more unexpected.
I think I may have been cured of kvetching about how the dogs destroy their toys when I heard that the lepard was given a bowling ball as a toy, and ate it.
I'll get very tired by the end of the day if I try to walk to all the sections.
Koala's look very cute sleeping, especially when there is a whole flock of them. Is flock the right word for a number of koala's?
