I built a myth box a few years ago out of spare computer parts. It died the same month our cable company offered HDTV so I'm now using the cable company DVR and I keep on thinking that the myth user interface is soooooo much better.
I think there are a few variables that I'd be unconfortable doing long distance if Myth goes easily it can be a low-pain effort, but if not it can be a real pain, and I don't want to sign up for something I can't do a good job on.
If you have any insights you'd be willing to share I have someone local who's interested in making these (and, unlike myself, has actual experience building computers from scratch). You have my email? wexAThovirDOTcom Thanks!
