I'm now in what is mostly sunny La Serena Chile. I now can recover from jet lag as much as possible before schlepping up to the mountain tomorrow at 10 before starting five nights of counting photons. Santiago was cold and wet, but its nice here. I'll play tourist tonight and try to find dinner some place with a view of the Pacific Ocean. I'll be sure to have a
Pisco sour, since that's what all the tourists do.
