its bad when

you can't tell if something is a joke or is serious. I've heard that conservatives have their own version of wikipedia, which they use to promote creationism, err, intelligent design. However I don't know if the entries are being made by them, or being spoofed.

It's a little of both. The genuine articles on the site are pretty horrible, and the left wing neo-commie-hippie-radicals (not that I'd know any of them) have been at it with their own entries, which are nearly as bad.

I find it depressing that their idea of providing a site that is free of anti-American bias means that the entries on Canada, Russia and Australia combined would only be slightly longer than wikipedia's entry on toe socks.
