thunder storms

It thundered at about 3am last night. I was awoken from the thunder, and decided to hit the bathroom for a moment. When I got out of bed I stepped on king, who was in the midst of a panic attack over the thunder. After reassuring him that things were ok I continued on to the bathroom. At which point I then stepped on Sierra.

Last night a bird kept me awake (at 6am or so) by bouncing off the kitchen window for half an hour. It might have to do with the cat, who sometimes sits looking out that window, but the bird usually does it during the day and when the cat isn't around. Maybe it's more to do with bird brains being very small?
