Another friday at the ER

Sometime early this afternoon, the area around my left kidney started being ouchy. By 2:30 I had left work so I could make it home ok. By 3 I was in moderate discomfort while on the beltway. by 3:30 I was home, rolling around on my bed in pain, with Pam calling my doc. By 3:40 I as in the local er building. By 7 I'm leaving the ER on the way home, with two perscriptions, but no clear cut diagnosis. I love modern medicine. I'm not sure if I should be glad that the power barfing took place at home instead of the ER or not.
