There being a minor hickup with DTS, the one RM employee made a change to my travel orders. In spite of a direct request to not reforward them back to my department head for reapproval, you can guess what was done. My boss is in Hawaii till Thursday, which is bad enough, but the rest of the RM people who need to sign off on the trip are gone till April 11th. My trip was supposed to leave on the 6th, return on the 10th.

One of these days a trip in DTS will work with out a hitch, and I will drop dead from shock.

I'm *supposed* to be prepping a new camera for observations with the Flagstaff telescope, not babysiting my travel orders. Of course what I *SHOULD* do is do nothing but my job, and if the trip doesn't happen let the shit fall on RM, but somehow I doubt that would in fact happen. I think the head of RM has incriminating photos of upper management, else she'd have been fired for incompetence years ago.

I wish this was an april fools joke.

Oh, and my wife has a sinus infection. Again. Err, still.

... And so will millions of Government employees the world over. We have one person who has the virtual target painted on his back. Three people can submit exactly the same orders, and his is the only one rejected/modified/lost/deleted/folded/stapled/spindled/mutilated.
