As we were leaving, Pam wanted to stop at Starbucks for her tea fix. She told me that the Starbucks was about 2.3 up the road. I said that I needed a unit, and was it 2.3 blocks, 2.3 miles, 2.3 kiloparsecs? Pam gave me a glare that should have knocked rust off of an iron pipe, and told me to drive until she said to turn left. I replied that those were directions I could follow.

Is your self preservation instinct lacking today?

I try not to talk back to glares capable of knocking rust off of pipes.. though we do have some rusty cast iron, if it actually works, can we borrow her for a bit?
