A long time ago I was showing my rabbits at a farm fair. We had considerable problems with PETA in the area that I was in, so we had to stay with the animals overnight. The tent that I was in was between the sheep and the cows. They got into a mooing contest. The sheep won.

Meme Sheep make whatever noise they want to make. But most often they moo late at night, just like real sheep.
