I caught a couple of the last songs from the lobby (was otherwise engaged with the dance class that's usually in that space) and I think I finally understand what people see in them. I'm told it took a while to balance instrumental vs voice, but that they were not overamped like at faire.
Perhaps I'll try to see them if they perform in a real venue again next year.
Up until the brief time last night, my experience with them was that it was nice to listen to their faire performances. . . from the paring lot. When I'd gotten near enough to see them I'd been overwhelmed by entirely too much sound, which at Faire was a real turnoff.
