Good news is no one injured in auto accident, bad news Jeep is
now at mechanics waiting for the insurance adjuster. Saw tamnonlinear last
night at DC tribal, she displayed one of her super powers (looking good in hats)
and agreed that 2009 is really front loading the suck on me. I wanted to bitch
about my various health problems, but it seemed tacky to do so in front of
someone with worse problems than I have.

And when an IT guy sent email out friday at 3pm saying here
are the new DNS servers, I thought he would wait
a few days before turning off the *OLD* servers. I love
being mobbed at 9am on Monday by a department full of
people who can't work.

I do not have worse problems. Just a worse diagnosis. Wait, that doesn't sound as supportive as it's meant to be. Besides, what are friends for if you can't be tacky in front of them?

Seriously, I want to know what's going on in your life and it's nonsense to play games of who has it worse. Everyone's life is difficult, and we only get through by helping each other shoulder the weight of it all.

NO, it was a metaphorical mob. When three people bother me about an IT issue before
I get my cup of hot tea, I get grumpy. Especially since I'm an astronomer not an IT dude.

Well see, they couldn't get on their computers, so they had to talk to other people instead. When the servers go down here, the general volume of the place increases significantly.

Additionally, despite how much she claims to hate humanity as a total group, tamnonlinear has one of the best perspectives on life because she knows how to celebrate with the little gods.
