if I wanted to get a nice looking outfit for a friends wedding who is getting married at Faire, can anyone recommend a good place to get it from?

This is what I'd suggest! A simple tunic/pants/belt combo. ORRRRR a kilt. I am, of course, a kilt enthusiast and rare is the man who doesn't look hotter in one!

Just make sure it's not a utili-kilt :)

Bullseye is generally good for tunic/pants. It's where I went 12 years ago for my first tunic/pants.

Potomac Leather for a belt.

PL is on your way into fair, once you get back the initial display of food and such, just past the white hart tavern. Bullseye, and I hope I'm remembering the name correctly is behind and to the right of Potomac Leather, on the opposite end of the row from a turkey leg vendor if that helps.

Check out the Moresca booth at faire. I love their stuff.

Also, if you go the kilt route, there is a store in Manassas called Kilted Nation.
