one hit wonders
May. 17th, 2010 10:00 amYesterday on the radio I heard back to back 867-5309 by Tommy TwoTone and "Blinded by the light", as performed by Manfred Man. Pam commented on the back to back one hit wonders, and I started to think that since Manfred Man covered Springsteen does that count as a "one hit wonder". I think it doesn't. Since I have a meeting in three minutes, I want to find out what LJ land thinks.

Date: 2010-05-18 04:15 am (UTC)My opinion:
Date: 2010-05-18 04:14 am (UTC)A one-hit-wonder is a band that only has one song on the charts, doesn't matter whether it is an original or a cover.
