-- What is your favorite thing about watching bellydancers?
Watching the muscles of athletic women move and stretch. But what isn't to love about watching bellydancers?

I've been in a rut recently, going through old favorites, instead of new things. I did read a book on Egyptian mathematics which most people would turn their nose up at.

lionessindc's birthday
-- What's your guilty pleasure?
Eating a melting popsicle in the summer and not caring how much drips down my face.

Date: 2010-07-10 05:44 pm (UTC)Mostly not long. I've collected places I look and it gives me an excuse to look through my sources. Sometimes I keep a window open and add them throughout the day, but mostly I spend half an hour or so hunting around.
What is your favorite meal?
I love Arab food, Mediterranean food, Asian food and almost anything with chicken.
Do you have any formal background in photography?
I was one of many photographers on my college paper and yearbook. I started to use a dark room then. Ten years later, I taught photography and dark room technique to special ed students for a while. Gave it up for another 10 years and discovered pocket 35mm cameras and started carrying one around with me.
Then I met Barbara Nitke and thought, "I've got to get a better camera." I did and a year later took her second class at the Crucible and thought, "I've got to get a better camera," and again I did.
I'm still not comfortable with digital camera controls. In my mind I shift into analog controls on a 35mm SLR.
I have always enjoyed photography. Meeting
What's your favorite book genre to read?
Long term, Science Fiction. Recently, Mysteries.
Do you have a favorite sports team?
Oh, Redskins, then maybe the Baysox. I've kind of given up following how teams do in the standings. After Joe Gibbs first stint, I've always had a soft spot for the 'Skins.
