Your "honey-do" list contains the phrase "get 25 bags of mulch" . . . .

For the second week in a row!

(And yes, I did get 25 bags of mulch last weekend).

Mulch! We had to ban mulch from our yard b/c of termites. Nasty little buggers. So, what is a good alternative? Any suggestions? We thought about the little white rocks, but they get nasty over time and are a pain in the ass to clean out.

We discovered it the hard way. The previous owner had mulch right up to the house. Sure enough, we had to call in the experts last summer to get rid of them. Minor damage too. Granite rocks are an idea I didn't think of. The only problem with rocks in general is the fact you get leaves and debris in them throughout the year. If I didn't suffer from beeaphobia I could spend plenty of time outside around the bushes plucking said debris, but that just isn't going to happen!
