Sorry, I couldn't find a ruler that was marked in cubits, and trying to find enough wood to make room for two of every species (okay, so maybe you only need one of the asexually reproducing bacteria, but on the other hand, you try carving petri dishes out of gopher wood some time and see how that goes) was a bit much work.

Ancient unit of measure supposedly based upon the length of the forearm, so the dimensions given for the ark in the Old Testament is given in cubits. I would really like make some atrocious pun here, but I've just been reading the wikipedia article and wondering if you can use different ancient culture's length of cubits as a way of extrapolating the relative height of people of different ancient cultures, and I am in my geek place.

This is a joke, right? I mean a "straight from Bill Cosby's routine" joke?

Yeah, some of us still remember him from when he did stand-up comedy.

I'm slightly north of you and the school districts surrounding me are all getting out early. So it looks like I'll be needing my ark (poss. to get to you)
