I know the strain of 95 years of losing has put you under extreme pressure, but lighten up on the guy. Even if he did touch the ball, if Alex Gonzalez didn't boot that double play ball you'd still have been up 3-1. Blame the guy making 7 million a year instead of the dude who paid 65 bucks for the seat.

Both NBC and CBS nightly news ended with the poor guy's story (at least they didn't give his name). CBS implied that that was what began the Cubs collapse. NBC said that the guy is "sorry from the bottom of my broken heart." They also said that Jeb has offered the guy asylum in Florida, many people have offered steak dinners, and one guy has offered a stay at his beachfront property.

This is a crazy, crazy world we live in.
