That was weird

Someone just called me on my cell, and it wasn't anyone I know, but they asked for Greg. They said I had five outstanding invoices from Virginia Ground Cover and owed them over $1600. When I told them I had never heard of their company, and had never ordered from them, the woman on the other end says "Are you Greg Farris?" When I told her no she says "What is your last name?" Not having fell off the turnip truck yesterday I told her that since she called me I saw no reason to tell her my last name, told her to have a nice day, and hung up.

So peeps, was this an innocent case of wrong number, or a scam attempt I didn't fall for?

That does sound weird, had to have been a mistake or , a scam .
I rec. a call yesterday about how I won a two night stay in historical williams burg, I told them no thanks and hung up, have no clue were they got my cell # from.
